What is "Get Well E-mail"?
Get Well e-mail is a convenient way for friends and family members to support and encourage patients at Mercy Medical Center Redding.
Where do I send my e-mail?
If you would like to send a "Get Well E-mail" to a loved one or friend who is a patient at Mercy Redding, please provide us with the patients name and room number in the subject line and address your e-mail to mmcrgetwell@chw.edu . If you do not know the patients room number please call (530) 225-6000 and ask the operator. Message cannot be delivered unless a room number is included.
When are e-mails delivered?
Get Well E-mails are delivered between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. E-mails received over the weekend will be delivered the following Monday morning. Delivery of e-mail may be delayed during holidays. E-mail received after the intended recipient has been discharged will not be delivered and will be disposed of according to law.
The Get Well E-mail program is designed for get well wishes only. Any other types of communication or messages (such as e-mail conducting personal business, containing questionable content or business/vendor solicitations) will not be delivered.
Can the patient I'm sending this to send a response by e-mail?
Through Get Well E-mail patients can receive your message but they cannot reply using that system.
Are the e-mail messages I send confidential?
All messages received are handled confidentially. Upon receipt, your mail will be printed, sealed and delivered directly to the patient's room.
