Seniors 60 Years of Age or Older are Welcome
Our dining centers offer food, friendship, recreation, wellness education and fitness activities.
SSNP offers hot and nutritious meals to those aged 60 years of age or older at four Senior Dining Centers throughout Shasta County. Each meal meets one third of the recommended daily dietary allowance and is approved by a registered dietician. A contribution of $3.00 is requested for each meal. The actual cost of each meal is more than $6.50. Qualified customers will not be denied meals based on ability to contribute.
We strive for a pleasant, cheerful atmosphere in which every senior feels welcome. We host festivities such as Western Days and Luaus where people can dress the part and join in the fun. We also have live music and dancing most days. Bingo is played after lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Redding Center.
