They will also discuss what happens when major obstructions occur in a body’s vascular system and how this can often result in drastic health complications. A Vascular Highway Screening
This is a great gift idea for the person who has everything. For $99*, you can have your vascular system screened by the caring medical professionals of Mercy Medical Center Redding and interpreted by members of the Hospital’s Medical Staff. These three exams will take approximately one hour and all participants will receive a one-to-one consultation with a vascular specialist.
Screening Exams include:
Stroke/Carotid Artery Ultrasound - to detect potential stroke causing plaque
Ankle-brachial Index – to detect peripheral arterial disease
Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound – to detect an aneurysm
