Please join us for a special presentation by Marilyn Gee, RD, Congestive Heart Active Management Program (CHAMP®) Dietitian and Sonia Marrach, BSN, RN, CHAMP® Nurse.
These individuals, who are part of the Mercy Heart & Vascular Institute Team in Sacramento, will provide a general overview of cardiovascular disease and heart failure. They will also present staying healthy techniques along with specific heart failure management tips on diet, activity (walking), medications and working with your health care providers. A video about heart failure patients will also be shown. This program illustrates the wide demographic impact of heart failure in America on all ages – not just the elderly.
