Mended Hearts Forms New Chapter in Redding
In an effort to establish a local support group for a growing number of heart patients in the Redding area, a new program is being introduced at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. The Mended Hearts Program is a national nonprofit organization that is affiliated with the American Heart Association (AHA). The Mercy Heart Center and the AHA are recruiting volunteers on an ongoing basis.
Mercy's program will join the more than 460 Mended Hearts hospital programs nationwide.
