Mercy’s dietitians are dedicated to providing the highest quality nutrition care to our community. Our dynamic professionals are educated and skilled in all aspects of hospital clinical nutrition, from intensive care to education on the latest information on nutrition and diabetes and heart disease. Many of the dietitians have master degrees or specialized certifications in diabetes, sports medicine and intravenous nutrition and tube feedings.
In addition to working with hospitalized patients, the dietitians work with Mercy’s outpatient clinics and services such as the OB clinic, wound care clinic and home care and hospice. The dietitians also provide vital nutrition care to many of the community’s health care organizations.
