"I have accepted an offer to practice with an established Family Practice group here in Redding and will continue my inpatient care through Mercy/CHW because of the strong relationships I’ve made with the specialists. Having a close relationship with the staff is imperative for thorough and efficient patient care. I have that here. So much that many staff members have sought me out as their Primary Care Provider."
About the Community:
"In the summer: I can get off work, hook up the boat, load up the kids and be on the lake, water-skiing, in 20 minutes! In the winter: I can get off work, load up the skis and kids, night-ski Mount Shasta and swing by In-N-Out Burger for dinner on the way home. Home is close to work, is close to Church, is close to the children’s schools, is close to shopping, and is close to entertainment. We’ve appropriately re-nick-named “rush hour” to be “rush minute”. What really seals the deal for my family and I in this community is that people are very nice. It’s not just in the hospital but it’s in Costco, Barnes & Noble, the Mall, the YMCA, Sports Authority, Home Depot, even the DMV. I suppose that’s the benefit of living in a moderately-sized (approx. 90,000) city with a small-town flair."
